Origin
Three wishes became Publication Intelligence
In 2019, John Camden built Djinndex for a complex 1,104-page reference work. It accelerated author and Scripture indexing, but subject indexing remained out of reach. Modern language models changed that—without replacing the need for human judgment.

AI changed the work, not the need for judgment
Publication Intelligence builds a strong draft and keeps every entry tied to its source passage. Authors, editors, and professional indexers still decide what matters, how readers will look for it, and how the final index should be structured.
Current product scope
Publication Intelligence currently supports English-language subject, author, and Scripture index drafts from final paginated PDFs with extractable text. It does not perform OCR, and every index still requires human review and final publication approval.
